CPA marketing can be a real flip-of-the-coin at some points despite your best intentions and research; sometimes things just don’t go as well as you had planned and now you’re footing a big bill on advertising or punching yourself for time wasted on a content campaign.

Don’t beat yourself up just yet …

We’ve got three ways to recoup some of those costs when you make these blunders.

#1: Write it off as a learning experience

Failure is an integral part of the entrepreneurial experience.

We take big risks because they have big rewards, but if we fall and fail to pick ourselves back up than we’ve given up and that hurts far worse than writing it off as a learning experience and continuing on with our goals.

Go into each and every campaign with the thought that, yes, you may fail but treat it as a privilege to have learned in a real-world environment rather than reading about the topic and never taking action.

You will become hard pressed to make it work out, in the long run, if you’ve overcome barriers and it will prepare you when your business throws those curveballs. Learn from those mistakes and make an effort to never repeat them again – that’s what all successful entrepreneurs do.

#2: Test and track every single element

Every campaign you give a go should be approach with two things in mind:

It will be a small scale test to reduce the overall cost and financial hit if it doesn’t go well

It will be tracked to the smallest degree to know exactly what happened

This one follows very closely to the mentality of “writing it off as a learning experience” but with a twinge difference as you’re intentionally doing the campaign with the express idea that you will gain hard data regardless of result.

In essence: it’s less about gut feeling/reaction of the failure and more about the numbers you gained.

Use a variety of analytical tools to track the reception of your offers and marketing campaign. Peer into heatmaps to find what caused the most excitement on a page (or what didn’t). Test the campaign/page with A/B testing tools to see if you could have done better.

Hard data you gain from your campaigns, even if they fail, can find a use when you try new traffic sources or offers. You can apply real-world data to your campaigns to make logical decisions for your business rather than emotional, gut reactions.

You may not recoup the money you’ve spent on the campaign but you can certainly dodge the bullet on all those that follow afterward.

#3: Share your insights with the world

Surprisingly enough you can take what you have learned from your blunder and turn it into something profitable by covering it as part of your normal content routine.

The people that follow your blog may have become accustomed to seeing success after success because it’s often that you only really report on these events because it looks good to the community (while holding off the bad parts since it can make you look like an amateur).

What really happens when you share your failures is a sudden rush of support because you actually helped others avoid a similar fate.

Describing what went wrong, which resources you used, the advice you followed, and displaying it all with real-world data will be well received by your community since it will save them the hassle of going down that same path.

The money-earning angle of this story comes about when you offer the alternative (which you’ve tested). Followers will see what you did wrong, avoid that resource, and go for the one that has shown promise, instead. In many ways it becomes a case study so its win/win for every party involved; you gain a better angle to promote a different offer and your community doesn’t take the financial hit.

What ways do you differ your costs during your CPA campaigns that don’t go smoothly?

It’s very easy to become consumed with chasing after high traffic because we love to see big numbers. We often associate the bigger numbers with the chance at earning bigger income. But the fallacy in this way of thinking is that most visitors finding your information are “freebie hunters” that will drop in, grab the information, and be on their merry way.

The alternative to doing post after post of lists, round-up, trending topics, and news is creating content that avoids the buzz and goes straight to the core of great, valuable information – you focus less on whether you’re landing massive traffic and more on obtaining massive conversions.

Here are three items we’d recommend you place your focus if you plan to build real content value.

Focus #1: Aim for the Long-Haul Value

The first in this small list that we’d like to mention is less strategy and more mindset.

The content you produce, for your website and campaigns, should have a forward-thinking approach whereas each piece dodges the trends and aims to provide long-term benefits to the community.

For example:

A. You could write a post about the top 10 features of a new product

B. You could explain how to achieve a goal by using the type of product

The difference, in these examples, is that the latter has a pillar appeal to the topic because the product could shift over time; you’re not creating content for a specific product but, instead, freeing up the ability to rework the piece at any given moment to apply to a new offer.

Focus #2: Answer those Vital Questions

Second – answer questions – it’s that simple.

People turn to the Web when they are ready to make a buying decision because they have additional questions right before handing over their hard earned money. People spend a great deal of time cross checking reviews, videos, and other media that explains what they can expect if they purchase a product or service.

One of those vital items during this process is the questions they have running through their mind.

To create long-term content you should focus on answering these common questions. Each question that you find should have a unique post which grants you the benefit of a long-tail keyword/phrase.

Over time this constant answering of questions will boost your Web traffic with qualified leads because it not only gives you better search placement for these long-tail keywords/phrases but also because a visitor can dig deeper into the questions and answers rather than bouncing to another resource.

Focus #3: Follow-Up on Feedback

Third, and actually one of the easiest, comes from your patience to conduct a follow-up based on the feedback and response you hear from your community members and one-off visitors.

The feedback can be used for a multitude of things:

Expanding an existing post with added opinions and insights

Additional content based on feedback that delves deeper into the subject

A brand-new post featuring community feedback (easy content)

The feedback people give your content and coverage of a topic can build upon your work to create a definitive piece for the industry. You’ll begin to form pillar content around a topic rather than continually producing new works just to stay up-to-speed on the demands of your audience and it’s these revisions that allow your content to continually rise in the search engines and will ultimately become a major lead generating feature of your business.

Conclusion

The traffic may trickle compared to jumping on hot topics but the content you create with these three items in mind will allow you to grow your website, its message, and your brand in a dynamic nature that continually sends qualified leads to your offers. You’ll cut down on the “freebie hunters” and pick up a whole new community of individuals ready to take action.

A previous post we did covered the strategy of making extra money during the holidays but this mostly touched on the bigger ones like Christmas but today we’d like to go over how it would be possible to make extra coin even during those holidays you’d deem “unconventional” in a normal sense.

Create “best gifts for …” type posts

People love lists but especially so when it gets close to a holiday they celebrate because it makes the task of finding gifts far easier than spending hours digging around individual products/service pages.

One of the best methods to capitalize on the “unconventional” holidays is to do posts specific to certain demographics:

Best gifts for men under 40 on …

Best gifts for grandma during …

Top 10 beloved gifts to celebrate …

You can see where this is going.

Choose products that are frequently associated with the holiday and you can create evergreen content that doesn’t need an update each year!

Review a hot product (before-hand)

There are all kinds of products and services associated with the one-off holidays which make for a perfect opportunity to strike while the iron is hot.

Have a look at the Wikipedia article that lists holidays and you can prepare for these events well in advance so you gain search traction. Then move over to your CPA marketplace and find offers that coincide with the type of event.

For example: There is a “World Backup Day” which is reminder to backup files on your computer. There are CPA offers for backup services! See where the two and two can go together?

Do a countdown

Certain holidays can be massive terms of promotion and the amount that people go all out when purchasing gifts depending on the culture, religion, or tradition. Many of these holidays have begun creeping back earlier into the year and we now see some promotions starting a solid month before they even begin!

To this:

1. Take an hour to research an idea for an article series for each of the days leading up to the holiday (such as the “13 scary days of Halloween”).

2. Write and publish a new post for each day in the series related to the things you are excited about (in terms of the holiday), hot products you’ve found throughout the year, articles that interest you, people that inspire you, or whatever can fit within this series.

3. Integrate your CPA offers specific to each of the days so if you talk about a product than try to use a CPA offer for that product (and so on).

Not only will you hook readers into coming back for more (if they follow the series) but those catching it at the later points can browse the related posts and link lists you could include to go back to the beginning and start over; of the posts you create – you’re bound to catch a person at some point along the way.

Just get them to the site

A lot of CPA offers will already have made the shift toward the holiday market so it’s really just about getting them over to the offer but if your CPA offers haven’t done an overhaul than you can consider taking action and designing banners for your campaigns. People will let the consumerism in them take over because everyone else is buying stuff for the holiday so put the message in their path and they’ll certainly entertain the idea.

How are you creating campaigns around specific holidays?

Mother’s Day is celebrated on May 12th this year; if you haven’t yet planned something out for your mother than get to it! But, the real point of this article is to share some of the ideas, product, and services you could try promoting during Mother’s Day.

To be honest: it’s easy.

Many individuals fall back to the general array of gifts because they hold it off to the last minute which makes it easier for us, as marketers. We’re covering this holiday, now, to allow you enough time to setup a few campaigns, pieces of content, and promotions so you can capitalize during the day of celebration.

Offer #1: Flowers

Stable and staple – flowers will always be one of those gifts that you’ll find readily available during the celebration. Besides your promotions you could aim a few of your campaigns/pieces of content around listing out the most beloved flowers, gift cards, and online ordering – which happens to have a handful of CPA offers available on most networks.

Offer #2: Sweets

Like Valentine’s Day – chocolate and other sweets are pretty commonplace when people are searching for gifts. Again, you could create a list with the best ideas for gifts, talk about some of the best sweets to give, or even talk about the tradition of giving sweets which would allow you to work in a CPA offer for gift cards or services that handle the products.

Offer #3: Clothes

Clothes may not be the immediate “go-to” type of gift you’d give to your mother but think about it … everyone needs them and we’re sure that a mother would love to find a new shirt, dress, or something to complement their look. There are many CPA offers related to clothing and fashion which can be integrated with posts such as top fashion trends, favorite clothing gifts for wives, and so forth.

Offer #4: Soap

Adding on to the typical list of gifts is, as you’d expect: soap.

You could pain the picture perfect image of taking a nice, hot bath and relaxing the trouble away. Soap gets tied into this feeling of relaxation depending on the brand, fragrance, and price. Mention and offer it on your gift list and it could pick up those conversions.

Offer #5: Vacations

Who wouldn’t love to get away from it all even if it’s just for a few days?

Vacation deals may be what many individual seek when they’re finding gifts for their mother and this means big money for you since these packages come at a high price. You could certainly work the angles such as “best travel destinations for your mother”, “top 10 vacation spots for women”, or whatever your imagine grants you – there are plenty of offers to go around so just get the word out there and you’ve got yourself on the right track.

Conclusion

There are plenty of other products/services you could promote such as candles, gift baskets, spas, coffee, pocketbooks, and more. Check with your affiliate network and your affiliate manager to see what’s hot for this holiday.

Neighbor’s dog barking its head off, lawn care going insane with the weed whacker, people moving about around the house, and general noisiness of the World can put a hamper on your ability to focus on your CPA business.

We, humans, are easy to distract because we’re wired to attune to our world for survival so planting us in a situation where we’re sitting at the computer can have us in a constant state of awareness since we’re remaining still. Let’s not forget the big distraction that is the Internet and the entire wondrous things we can learn and find entertainment within.

Sit tight because we’ve got you covered. We’re going to explain some of the simple (yet astonishing) ways to put an end to distractions so you can jump back to work and get those important things done.

Know what’s distracting you – You won’t be able to remove the distractions if you don’t know where your time is going. Consider using a notepad to mark off whenever you find yourself distracted from your task, categorize where that time is going, and turn it into a top list of your biggest distractions.

Set the ideal environment – Working from home? Set a designated area that won’t receive a whole lot of foot traffic or an area that has enough seclusion that outside noise doesn’t bleed through to cause a distraction. Working on the go? Use headphones, sit off to the side, and work around the time when people aren’t hustling about.

Just turn it off – Make an effort to simply turn off your Internet connection when you’re working on the bigger projects. Do your research, collect your notes, and then go offline to do the majority of your work. Alternatively, use extensions like StayFocused which you can set to block certain websites and Web activities which may be your biggest distractions.

Work around your creativity – If you don’t want the projects to feel like a secondary job than do its work when you have a creative kick – not only will you feel inspired to get into the work but you’ll work at peak times when you have the motivation.

Build an accountability network – Put your goals out there in the open with your connections and ask if they can hold you accountable to your actions. Consider setting a hard tradeoff for slacking such as paying someone money if you fail to reach goals. The people around you will keep you focused, interested in the project, and give you mental support to keep going.

Turn the tasks into a game – Break down your tasks and set rewards for completing each. What you’re doing is ‘gamification’ which turns work into something enjoyable since there is some form of reward at the end such as a break, purchasing an item off your wish list, or watching a YouTube clip you’ve been itching for.

Work in rotation – Try out the pomodoro technique which basically forces you to work in small batches and then into short breaks. This technique is effective because it will interrupt your work at such a point that you’ll feel motivated to jump right back into action after the break. You can use an app like FocusBooster to automate this time tracking.

It’s easy to become distracted with all the fun and enjoyable activities we have available especially if working from home but there’s a time for play and a time for work; removing the distractions is an essential part of operating a CPA business at its full potential. Try a handful of these strategies for combating distraction, learn what works for you, and put them into practice each and every day.

Cost-Per-Action marketing tends to find itself in areas which may make you feel uncomfortable with the offers you promote.

There are many companies paying big money just for the eyeballs which can lead to some campaigns having you promote advertisements that you know aren’t all that stellar but the opportunity to earn a good bit of income, in their promotion, may warrant the choice.

With this post we hope to share how to conduct your CPA marketing without that feeling of “sleaziness” that may accompany the offers and marketing strategies you may have chosen.

Element #1: Don’t let others hold you back

There is a lot of negativity that surrounds the CPA marketing business model because so many individuals have sullied the industry through shady business practices.

People will quick to point out the wrong-doing of your work yet fail to realize the mass of individuals that are legitimate due to the few bad apples. Every industry is like this so it’s best to just avoid the nay-sayer’s and keep at what works for you.

Don’t allow their envy or disinformation about the industry put a hamper on your opportunities. They will say crude comments but everything will be alright if you’re sticking to your ethics and providing true value to your site visitors.

Element #2: Let your ethics come to play

You won’t feel sleazy about your CPA promotion if you choose products that match your ethics.

Don’t feel forced to run a campaign about a product/service you feel does not meet the expectations and value to your site visitors.

Do a simple test of whether you’d actually act on the advertisement.

Don’t like it? Don’t run it.

Find it valuable? Give it a go.

Just because an offer has great gravity and payouts doesn’t mean you have to run them.

Let your gut instinct dictate what you do in your CPA business and you’ll never worry about whether you’re crossing the line.

Element #3: Pick the right match

In the same boat with the ethics is what pairs up with your website and marketing campaigns.

Frequent visitors will notice a shift in direction if you all of a sudden run CPA offers that have nothing to do with your niche; this is generally the result of a marketer trying to capitalize on a hot offer but, by doing so, this alienates the core community – they’ll notice and they’ll flee.

The best course of action is to take the time to ensure the CPA ads you have to offer are ones which will actually benefit your community. Match the offers with the content and direction you’ve put in place on your site so there’s no discrepancy between your message and what’s on the other side of the ad.

Element #4: Know when to keep your cool

Many marketers hound their followers. You’ll notice this if you’re on a list and you continually receive emails on a daily basis that have hard sells. What’s worse is that these types of marketers try to play up scarcity in an offer despite it having plenty of time before it’s closed to the public.

Treat your email lists, social accounts, site, and direct connections how you’d like to be treated.

Don’t do a hard sell if you feel you’ve already bombarded your list with offers.

Don’t go overboard in content that plays into the offers if you’ve done a long streak without real substance.

Don’t overdo your marketing campaigns on social networks if your followers are at their edge.

Let the promotions roll out in a natural manner. Do take some time to do a couple hard sells when the timing is right but make sure you deliver value during those downtimes otherwise you’ll lose those followers forever.

You should already know that WordPress is one of the most powerful platforms for building a website since it has a solid infrastructure, ability to make sweeping changes in minutes, and has thousands of developers working on themes and plugins.

WordPress, at its core, has a default installation that’s already miles ahead of most basic site templates but there’s a lot to be desired when forming it into something that can truly represent your business and work in your favorite for improving CPA conversions.

What we’d like to do is share two inexpensive WordPress plugin that every CPA marketer should have installed on their WP installation.

#1: Foobar

At $14, Foobar is a WordPress plugin competitor to the popular Hellobar you may have seen installed on a variety of websites. This plugin creates an editable drop down that appears at the top of the screen which is an excellent way to call attention to whatever you need be such as a latest post, coupons, exclusive deals, reviews, email lists, and more.

A visitors eye will almost always start at the very top-left side of the page which makes for the perfect addition if you need your message to be found.

The installation is quick-and-easy and comes with a backend to do all your major edits to add in elements like social network buttons, different designs, font choices, and HTML/CSS support.

#2: Ninja Popups

Ninja Popups, which comes at a great price of $18, also takes the place of expensive WordPress plugins such as Popup Domination (which you may have heard of). This plugin will allow you to create dynamic popups when visitors land on your site which can have integration to your email list or social accounts; these popups have proven to be effective at increasing the sign up by leaps and bounds.

The plugin installs in moments and comes with many pre-built templates to give a test. You can use it for building an email list (and also display your lead magnet), use it to bolster your social subscribers, lock down a page, or use it as an exit-pop. Even without technical experience you can get this plugin up and running without much hassle.

Popups may be somewhat annoying to some visitors but if you have something great to offer than it’s worth risking a few disgruntled visitors in place of a major increase in list/social subscribers.

Keep it simple

A lot of site owners go a little overboard with plugins on their WP installation; this leads to a sluggish website and creates a whole lot of distraction for the visitors. A site best operates when it’s second thought to the content; the message should be front-and-center and then followed by a call-to-action – they shouldn’t get buried in the design and architecture.

We recommend you give either of these WP plugins a run and track what kind of ROI they bring to your business; they’re unobtrusive but have already shown great promise for those that operate with these extensions.

The most powerful links you can build are ones in which you’ve earned.

A blast of links across multiple networks may be fine and dandy for gaining a small bump in the search engines but those links coming from authority websites (with massive, engaged communities) will far outweigh thousands of low-quality ones.

Not only will the link have a greater value to search engines but it takes the form of a real recommendation by another individual within your niche which automatically builds brand association which leads to a better acceptance of yours.

Earned links take time because they’re often built on relationships.

In this article, we’ll share some of the strategies you can put in place to earn those all-important links.

Step 1: Start with valuable content

Site owners and content creators aren’t going to link to a web page that lacks in substance so do everything within your power to create content that has real value to the community and industry. Spend a great deal of time getting into the thick and thin of what you cover so you can add real-world experience to the content rather than having it based on research. Share your opinions and data to the community so it can find its place as a real resource for citation from other content creators.

Step 2: Create rapport with a website owner

Populate an RSS reader or keep a note off to the side with ten or fifteen main contenders that you’ll label as “industry experts” – the individuals that are really making a big impact on the industry. Take some time, each day, to leave comments on their content. Interact with the individual through email chats and during social media discussion. Let them know you exist, that you value what they have to offer, and that you also share their vision for the industry. Make friends.

Step 3: Link to those to whom you want links

Build on top of your existing content and begin linking to resources you’ve found on other websites of those you’ve begun to build rapport. Take some of their ideas and expand on the topic with your opinion, challenge their ideas, or offer greater insight if they left out crucial bits of information.

Step 4: Alert the website owner about the mention

Shoot off an email, social signal, or get at the individual you’ve linked to on Skype and let them know that you used their content as part of your most recent piece of content. More often than not the individual will share your post to their followers since you were so kind enough to link back; this will get you in front of their community.

Step 5: Hope for the best

Stay patient and wait to see if your hard work of building rapport has paid off with the event of the individual linking back to your content when they’re working on a new piece. Keep tabs with your trackbacks and social mentions so you can immediately send a thank you email to the individual and share their post (which is linked to yours) on the social circuit.

Alt: Build a small network

Don’t expect site owners to suddenly start linking to your site on a regular basis. You have to get out there and make friends and build a network. Start a small tribe of 5 – 10 individuals that are like minded and willing to share and link to another’s content. Build a circle which lends aid to one another for exposure and brand authority. Start with the first five steps and go deeper by keeping in touch on a daily basis asking how you can help to improve their work because this will lead to a growing relationship that will have your CPA marketing business on the path to getting found and cementing its placement as one of the leaders in the market.

Conclusion

Earned links are, by far, the most valuable type of link due to the site authority and brand association; you will have a higher chance of visitors interacting and participating on your website versus those links scattered across low-quality domains. Earn links by building a network and great relationships.

How do you go about earning links?

Web design is best to be left to the professionals; it’s common to see CPA marketers take a stab at the design process and get it utterly wrong.

Worse yet is when they choose to make tweaks to their theme that goes against the original intention which was built on best practices in the industry.

These CPA marketers end up removing the important elements that create interaction and conversion in their design.

This article will share some of those mistakes made by marketers which should hopefully help you avoid costly mistakes when running your website.

#1: Lack of consistency

The best websites are ones where the information is front and center and everything else becomes a blur.

What we’re talking about is the ability for a site to create one continuous experience no matter the page a visitor goes through. Consistency is essential to keep focus with the visitor.

Avoid sudden breaks in focus by avoiding changes to the color, layout, font size, and even the graphical elements used throughout posts. Strive for consistency in your message and how you present it.

#2: Too much flash

Flash is fading away but it seems that many website owners still go with the technology. There are certainly great flash sites but at the end of the day they’re horrible for gaining search traction and the majority of them are frustrating to use not to mention that many mobile browsers fail to support Flash.

Build on HTML & CSS, it’s the standard and rightly so. Search engines will love it, users will love it, and it doesn’t make it a complete pain in the rear to make edits when need be.

#3: Non-existent mobile support

The Web is now mobile so there’s no reason to avoid a mobile layout for phones and tablets.

Tablets and phones are beginning to be one of the most used methods to reach a website which means any site failing to cater to the audience is missing out on a great opportunity to close on a CPA offer.

Keep it simple and streamlined in the mobile design. Don’t just display the website but take the actual effort to implement a new design that will form to the device otherwise the individuals landing on the site will have a troublesome time navigating and consuming the information.

#4: Poor font choice

People are reading your site, constantly.

Too small of text (or too large) can make a real hassle to get the best information. Likewise, the font should be one easy to read which is why you’d want to generally use a sans-serif font.

Keep the font around 12 – 14 point, arial, and black; this is the basic palette that everyone has come to know so there’s no reason to break the tradition especially if it makes your visitors turn away because it’s difficult to read.

#5: Too much clutter

Take a look at your website and remove half of it … seriously.

The purpose of the site is to get the visitor through your information and onward to your CPA offer. Sure you may want to build a fan base on Facebook but a user that clicks to the page means they’re not converting (you’d be lucky if they even come back). This is just one example but there are many more such as saturating with too many advertisements, too much media, or a whole lot of worthless links. Capture the visitor, send them through the link, and make the commission – don’t distract them during the process.

Final takeaway

Trust in your designer. Avoid making tweaks to a design if you don’t understand the basics of web development. Most design choices are put in place for a reason. Go with a website theme that caters to delivering your message or spend the time learning what needs to be present on a website in order to convert visitors. You’ll do more damage by trusting your gut than building off expertise.

Admit it: you’ve made some of these offenses, haven’t you? What will you do to fix them?

There are two elements to conversion with CPA ads:

Hook them in with your content/message

Get the click with your ad

The first half is actually quite easy if you follow the basic traffic generation strategies, go for big wins in search through content marketing, or explore the world of online advertising, but it’s the second that can be a real downer since individuals are very resistant to advertising on the Web.

People have become “blind” to online advertising because it’s so prevalent on websites. These days it’s hard to get an individual to notice what you have to offer outside of the main content. For this reason we’re going to share a couple tools that will aid in turning a lackluster ad into one that jumps out and gets the visitor to click.

Our top picks for photo editors

Adding little effects and tweaks to the ad will make a huge difference in having someone take notice – the following are three that will allow you to do all of these tweaks online:

#1: Fotoflexer.com

Fotoflexer.com has a great variety of effects such as the ability to distort, add fonts, doodle, morph, add shapes, and others like bluring, neon, inverted colors, and bokeh. You can upload the image straight from your desktop, do the tweaks, and throw it back onto your site to give it a run.

#2: Lunapic.com

Partially cheesy, partially helpful, Lunapic.com has a lot of the effects you’d find if you spend any amount of time on the Web; it will allow you to add borders, motivational posters, transitions, fire, bubbles, reflections, and more. A lot of the effects aren’t exactly “professional” but they’ll provide such a contrast in the ad that they’re bound to be seen.

#3: Ribbet.com

Imagine Instagram but with a whole load of extra effects and photo editing options. Ribbet.com can make very funky pictures with tools that allow you to morph images into puzzle pieces, add borders, place stickers, throw on filters, and more. It’s free and there’s no sign up which makes it easy to jump in, do some edits, and get back to work.

Ways to draw attraction

CPA ads don’t have to be works of art and, quite frankly, should be close to atrocious because they’ve been proven to be effective at standing out (sometimes the uglier the better).

Here are a few tweaks you could use:

A thick border around the image

Contrast in the image vs. the message (go with unconventional images)

Bright buttons and underlined text

Remember that it all boils down to the image, headline, and body. Get the visitors to take notice to the ad using sharp colors and images that jump off the screen; that will pull them in, hook with a headline, and then lead to the CTA with your body text. It’s recommended that you, of course, do A/B testing with these new ads that you’re running to ensure that it’s converting versus just playing into a gut instinct.

What strategies do you use to create eye-catching ads?
